How to find Inner Peace

In our everyday lives we can become burdened with many responsibilities, worries and fears. Our minds are ticking 24/7 around the clock with many many thoughts. And these are not only thoughts that are the normal routine thoughts, what are we going to eat? Did I buy the milk? But these can also be overwhelming thoughts. Thoughts of worry, thoughts of stress or even fear. But what happens to us when we are overwhelmed with these thoughts? We can get headaches, sleepless nights, and we can even make ourselves ill. Believe me I have been there! When I jumped into the self development field and helping others, my whole thought process and life completely changed. I keep on reading, and not just reading I am testing and applying what ever these writers or speakers say, just to see how I can change myself. Not only have I changed I have learned so many things that my mind just doesn’t know how to synchronise it or organise it. So you can or may say I am overwhelmed at it. But now I have come to the conclusion that more or less each and every self development writer or guru you can say, has similar things to say. They all apply the same rules, you may be thinking then why waste your time and read more. I read more because each and every person has something wonderful and new to teach.

Along my venture I have come to know of a new profound secret, and that is Inner Peace. Inner Peace is so important that when you have unlocked it, you can create your own peace or space wherever you go, what ever environment you may be in, be it a quiet or noisy environment! That is true Inner Peace! Soon as your brain is about to overload, you imaginarily teleport to this magical place where all is happiness and rainbows. (No you don’t need drugs for this!) I was reading one of my favourite books today called Psychocybernuetics Written by Maxwell Maltz, he mentioned something truly amazing, not just that I also have the habit of listening to audio books, and I was listening to Real Magic by Dr. Wayne W.Dyer. Funnily enough I was looking for a solution to inner peace today both books taught me something amazing on the spot. It was like destiny was answering my question for me. I had been looking for something to calm my brain and nerves, something that will keep my belief and courage in the law of attraction. Believe you and me it does take many teachings and practices to get to that level and one of the most important stages of it all is letting go and being peaceful and content. But as the human beings we are, our bodies find it hard to adjust to waiting patiently or just forgetting about the arising problem that we have that moment. What these both books taught me today was that true inner peace doesn’t have to be a special room in your home, because then it would be illogical as mothers with many children or people with busy lives or even those who are living in tight housing just cannot access it. Which for me is great news because as Dr Wayne was talking about meditation and the importance of it, I was like yes easy for you to say what about those with many busy lives. Then the sudden answer came of true meditation is not a physical state. It should be able to be done in a noisy environment that no matter what is happening to your surroundings your inner being won’t move an inch. It will calm itself in this beautiful state. I was truly blown away and thought yes this is amazing! This is what I need because my life is so hectic and right now I need an instant boost, I need an instant mind relaxer.

But how? Then later I was reading Psychocybernetics, I was blown away again, the technique was fully explained in there! Maxwell Maltz mentioned something amazing, he said it is very important for one to create an escapism, if we don’t have an escapism our minds would be so overwhelmed, we would not be able to think straight or find solutions. Which is what we need in this day and life, we need our brains to be in top gear to be able to find solutions and basically avoid a break down. Who doesn’t want to live the life of their dreams and be peaceful on a daily basis? The solution he gave was incredibly simple and I tested it on the spot because my head was hurting, I had been under some stress and was looking for clarity as I keep telling myself whenever I reach these situations, No Musart its ok, everything is going to be ok, you know you can do this etc etc. But for some reason my body or mind wasn’t buying it. I was also overwhelmed with the flooding of messages and calls of people asking for a solution to their problems. So I had to try the escapism technique on the spot. SO this is what I did….

I sat down, and closed my eyes and created the most beautiful image of the place I wanted to escape to, my current dream holiday would be Maldives! Currently seeing the Villas online and pictures, it wasn’t so hard to imagine or to feel it. I visualised to my full capacity of being there. A place of no phones, no bills, no stresses just me and the beautiful blue sea. Im lying on a hammock looking up and feeling the warmth of the sun. The water being so clear I can see crabs climbing up the wooded legs of the villa. A beautiful breeze passing through me….aaaah bliss just me and my company. No body needs me this very moment, no body CAN come here, that is the main beauty! All of my problems are dissolving before me they will sort themselves out. I can lay and be here as long as I want and whenever I want. I did this imagery for 5 minutes. When I woke up, I never felt so relaxed! My head was no longer pounding, I actually felt the strength in my body again of achieving whatever I wanted. Everything seemed possible again! I know with practice this would create the bigger picture of inner peace and I will be able to attract and solve anything I want. We need to shut down our minds and escape in order to achieve what we want, like it says in Psychocybernetics, its 90% mind and 10% action….
